[GUIDE] Paints and Unboxable Colors

With the recent addition of new unusual colors and couriers, we have been met with a lot of questions about paint and colors, so we decided to put together this guide to try to help those looking to get into the unusual market.

So far, there are only Seven (7) paints that exist to paint your couriers with. Paints are a onetime use legendary tool that can only be used to change the color of an unusual courier. The only way to get the paint in game was to own an unusual courier before the June 28, 2012 DOTA2 update. Paint can now only be found through trade or sale over PayPal from a trader and is therefore very rare.

The paintable colors and their codes are as follows: (Note: What is important is the color code, do not fret if your color doesn't look exactly like the one in the picture. The particle effects alter the color slightly)

Blue - Color Code: 0, 151, 206

Gold - Color Code: 207, 171, 49

Green - Color Code: 81, 179, 80

Light Green - Color Code: 183, 207, 51

Orange - Color Code: 208, 119, 51

Purple - Color Code: 130, 50, 237

Red - Color Code: 208, 61, 51

Four (4) more colors exist in the market, but no paint item currently exists for these colors. The unboxable colors are:

Indigo - Color Code: 61, 104, 196

Magenta Color Code: 196, 57, 198

Teal - Color Code: 74, 183, 141

Violet - Color Code: 130, 50, 207

The color code 255,255,255 also exists for the Sunfire and Triumph of Champions particle effects. This does not seem to be a color code for a specific color. These particle effects along with Felicity's Blessing and Affliction of Vermin cannot be painted.
